Bill Fenn

Bill Fenn is Senior Vice President at Marcus Partners, and is responsible for portfolio asset management, leasing, acquisitions sourcing and due diligence oversight in the New York metropolitan region.  Bill has over 30 years of private and institutional commercial real estate experience encompassing all property types with geographic diversity.  Prior to joining Marcus Partners, Bill was Vice President and Regional Asset Manager at New Boston Fund, and was responsible for the overall performance and profitability of a $550M portfolio of office, industrial, flex, retail and multi-family properties in the Northeast and Midwest U.S. totaling 4 million square feet. Prior to New Boston, Bill held senior level positions at Leggat McCall Properties, J.E. Robert Companies and Chase Manhattan Bank.  Bill received a B.A. from Hobart College, and has been a Director of the REFA Executive Committee since 2006. 



Robert Rahilly

Robert "Bob" Rahilly assists clients, ranging from Fortune 100 companies to startup ventures, with commercial real estate matters, including the financing, acquisition, leasing and sale of real property. He represents lenders and borrowers in all aspects of commercial real estate financing transactions, including CMBS transactions and construction financing. In addition, Bob advises landlords and tenants on long term ground leases, build-to-suit leases and space leases for all asset classes, including office, industrial, retail and healthcare.



 

Timothy Breda

Mr. Breda is a principal and Westport, CT office head. He concentrates on arranging acquisition, construction, and permanent financing on a variety of property types including office, retail, industrial, apartments and residential development.  A retail specialist, Mr. Breda has financed over 5.0 million square feet of retail centers with an aggregate debt amount over $500 million in the past six years.  He has been in the commercial real estate business for over 33 years.  In his 27+ year financing career, Mr. Breda has closed transactions in excess of $2.8 billion.  In addition to senior debt placement, Mr. Breda advises clients on joint ventures, equity placements, mezzanine loans and various other structured finance related transactions.  Mr. Breda represents borrowers throughout the United States, with a significant focus on clients owning properties located in greater metro New York area and New England.

 

Sam Fuller

Mr. Fuller is the President of Fuller Development, LLC with offices in South Norwalk, CT. Fuller Development is involved in the ownership, development, acquisition, redevelopment, construction, conversion and asset management of all asset classes of real estate throughout the Northeast.  
Mr. Fuller earned his Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School in 1989 and he earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire College of Engineering and Physical Sciences in 1983. 
Mr. Fuller has served on the Multi-Family Leadership Board of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). He has served on the Executive Committee of the Real Estate Finance Association, and was a member of the Urban Land Institute, where he has served on the Executive Committee of ULI Fairfield Westchester District Council. 

 
Robert Palermo

Robert J. Palermo, also known as Bob, serves as Senior Vice President & Commercial Loan Manager of Commercial Lending at Bank of New Canaan (Bankwell Bank). Mr. Palermo has more than 25 years of lending experience and a background that includes such disciplines as portfolio administration, asset & property management, loan workouts and liquidations. Mr. Palermo served as President of The Bank of Fairfield since September 2012. He served as Vice President of Commercial Lending at The Bank of New Cana of BNC Financial Group, Inc. He served as Divisional President of Stamford First Bank, a division of The Bank of New Canaan, where he managed Stamford First Bank's growth since July 2010.

 
Thomas McDevitt

Tom McDevitt is the Founder and Managing Partner of Edgewood. Mr. McDevitt has over 25 years of experience in all aspects of real estate and real estate capital markets. Mr. McDevitt has held senior real estate capital markets positions at Salomon Brothers, Citibank, Meenan McDevitt & Co. and Société Générale. Mr. McDevitt sold Meenan, McDevitt & Co., founded in 1991, to Société Générale in 1998.

Mr. McDevitt currently serves on the Boards of Neuberger Berman’s US Trust Global Private Markets Fund, Excelsior Private Markets Funds II and III and NB Crossroads Private Markets Funds IV and V. Mr. McDevitt also served on the boards of the Jones Lang LaSalle Income Property Trust, Quadra Realty Trust, a NYSE REIT as well as Bank of America’s Excelsior Absolute Return Fund of Funds and Excelsior Buyout Investors. Additionally, Mr. McDevitt has served on a number of non-profit boards including A Better Chance of Wilton, Community Nursery School of Wilton, and the Wilton Riding Club. Mr. McDevitt received his A.B. from Harvard College and his MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.


 
Jon Gold

Jon Gold is a partner at Edgehill Partners a real estate private equity firm founded in 2016 to invest in value add and opportunistic commercial real estate and debt. Prior to Edgehill, he was a principal at Goff Capital Partners where he focused on portfolio and asset management of a $4 billion portfolio of CMBS and on the acquisition and management of opportunistic real estate equity investments. Mr. Gold spent 20 years at JPMorgan Chase in the Credit Portfolio and Real Estate Investment Banking Groups. While in Credit Portfolio, he held various trading and portfolio management positions serving to reduce the bank’s credit exposure through credit derivatives, secondary loan trading and management of a credit trading book. In the Real Estate Investment Bank, Mr. Gold sold non-performing mortgage loans, underwrote new loans, arranged real estate equity and debt financing for bank clients and held various appraisal/valuation roles. Mr. Gold is a graduate of University of Connecticut with a B. S. in Real Estate and Urban Economics and New York University with a M.S. in Real Estate. Jon is on the Board of Directors of the Norwalk Community College Foundation and the Real Estate Finance Association of Connecticut.

 

Derek Eakin

Mr. Eakin is the Company’s Chief Investment Officer. He oversees the company portfolio and the execution of investments and asset management strategies. Before joining RiverOak, Mr. Eakin consulted with Starwood Capital Group and private equity fund Luzern Associates. Prior to that he was a Senior Associate at Cushman & Wakefield and Senior Analyst at mortgage brokerage firm Goedecke & Co. Mr. Eakin began his career in public accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP working for institutional real estate clientele. He graduated with honors from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Master’s degree. Jeffery Newman

Jeffrey H. Newman, senior vice president of Empire State Realty Trust and its affiliates, directs the leasing, marketing, operations and financial management of the Greater NY Metropolitan portfolio of Class-A, multi-tenanted office properties comprised of 1.8 million square feet within five different assets.  Mr. Newman, age 57, joined Empire State Realty Trust (formerly Malkin Properties) in January of 1995, and has more than thirty-two years of commercial real estate experience. 
A cum laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and the law school at George Washington University, Mr. Newman is a member of the New York State and Connecticut bars, and formerly served on the Executive Committee to the Real Estate Section of the Connecticut bar. He served for several years as central Fairfield County captain for the University of Pennsylvania’s Secondary School Committee, and continues to serve as a participant in Penn’s Alumni Interview Program for Fairfield County. He is a licensed New York State real estate broker, and has also successfully completed several courses towards a master's degree in Real Estate Development and Investment at New York University.


 

Frank Caico
