John Alissi

John Alissi is a Principal of Updike, Kelly & Spellacy, P.C. where he focuses his practice in the area of banking and commercial law, real estate financing & leasing, business law, and public finance.  As a member of the Commercial Lending & Banking practice group, John represents commercial banks, finance companies and other debt and equity providers in all aspects of commercial lending, including acquisition and construction financing, permanent mortgage financing, syndicated loans and participation agreements. John also has extensive experience in asset based lending, commercial finance and other forms of secured lending transactions, including revolving loans, term loans and letters of credit to various types of businesses. John also represents municipal issuers, trustees, letter of credit banks and purchasers in refunding bond and revenue bond financing transactions.  

John received his J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law in Hartford, Connecticut, where he received the Excellence for the Future Award for Problems in Criminal Law. He received his B.A. in History from Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts. From 1989 through 1991, John attended the United States Military Academy at West Point in New York.

Rebecca Nolan

Rebecca supports lead management and real estate services for business development activities in domestic and international markets. In this role, she is a liaison to the real estate brokerage, and site selection consultant communities. She provides consulting activities for municipalities, chambers of commerce and other economic development organizations.

Prior to joining the Alliance in 2005, Rebecca held positions with SullivanHayes Companies Northeast, LLC, a commercial retail brokerage firm located in Farmington.

Rebecca is a member of the Connecticut Economic Development Association (CEDAS), the Northeastern Economic Developers Association (NEDA), International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and CoreNet Global Network (Corporate Real Estate Executives Network) CT/Westchester Chapter.  She also was the first recipient of the Lisa M. Kolodziej scholarship from CEDAS in 2009 to pursue her professional education in economic development.

In 2011, she received CEDAS President’s Award for outstanding contributions to the association. She is a major contributor to the communications committee and supports the CEDAS board on their initiatives and mission.

Rebecca currently serves on the program planning team for Northeast Utilities’ Community Builders Institute; Co-chairs the program committee for the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) CT ICSC Alliance; represents MetroHartford Alliance on the steering committee for the Hartford-Springfield Economic Partnership (HSEP); is a former board member for HSEP’s program; and sits on the Capital Campaign Steering Committee for Community Health Resource (CHR).

Rebecca holds a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design and Fine Arts from the University of Hartford, Hartford Arts School.  She graduated from of the University of Oklahoma Economic Development Institute and received her Economic Development Professional (EDP) designation from the Northeastern Economic Developers Association in 2010. 


Mike Fish

Michael Fish's career has been centered in the Environmental Insurance and Real Estate Industry. Having begun with AIG Environmental Mike held various underwriting and management positions throughout his tenure. In 2003 Michael left AIG Environmental in order to establish an Environmental Insurance Practice for a large regional broker on the East Coast. Michael quickly helped to establish this regional agency as a market leader in Environmental Insurance and Environmental Risk Management in the New York Metropolitan area and throughout the country. Michael has been involved in the creation of new environmental policy forms and pollution legal liability language on behalf of multiple environmental insurance carriers throughout his career. In 2010 Michael formed M.J. Fish, LLC a Specialty Environmental Insurance Brokerage which provides complex Risk Management & Insurance solutions on behalf of their clients.
Michael received his Bachelor of Arts from Bowdoin College and is a member of the National Brownfield Association & the Real Estate Finance Association. He is also an active member of the National Council of Avon Old Farms. Michael and his wife Jessica reside in Avon and have 3 young boys.




Steve Inglese

Steve leads the New Haven Group, Inc., a commercial real estate firm focused on brokerage services and development throughout Connecticut. His firm has been a leader in representing third parties in the sale of investment properties throughout Connecticut and also leasing office and industrial properties throughout the region. He also has developed a variety of projects involving multi family housing, retail, industrial and office projects throughout Connecticut.

Martin Kenny

Commercial Real Estate Developer of 30 years experience, situated in Connecticut, Active throughout New England and selectively in Florida. Focused on MFR development and acquisition projects. Currently involved in the entitlement and development of 750 market rate apartments in 4 locations in Hartford and New Haven Counties. Communities presently under ownership include, Trumbull on the Park Apartments, Hartford, Addison Mill Apartments in Glastonbury and most recently Mallory Ridge Apartments in Bloomfield which recently opened in the summer of 2014.



Anna Pfau

Prior to joining CBRE | Capital Markets, Ms. Pfau attended the University of Connecticut and graduated in May 2011. As an undergraduate, she completed the Real Estate requirements at UConn and was involved in the Real Estate Society. Anna interned at Northeast Utilities in the Corporate Property management department where she assisted in the purchase of a right of way. Since joining the Hartford DSF team in May 2011, Ms. Pfau has been involved in over $3 Billion dollars of commercial mortgages on behalf of institutional borrowers and lenders.
