Mike Fish

Michael Fish's career has been centered in the Environmental Insurance and Real Estate Industry. Having begun with AIG Environmental Mike held various underwriting and management positions throughout his tenure. In 2003 Michael left AIG Environmental in order to establish an Environmental Insurance Practice for a large regional broker on the East Coast. Michael quickly helped to establish this regional agency as a market leader in Environmental Insurance and Environmental Risk Management in the New York Metropolitan area and throughout the country. Michael has been involved in the creation of new environmental policy forms and pollution legal liability language on behalf of multiple environmental insurance carriers throughout his career. In 2010 Michael formed M.J. Fish, LLC a Specialty Environmental Insurance Brokerage which provides complex Risk Management & Insurance solutions on behalf of their clients.
Michael received his Bachelor of Arts from Bowdoin College and is a member of the National Brownfield Association & the Real Estate Finance Association. He is also an active member of the National Council of Avon Old Farms. Michael and his wife Jessica reside in Avon and have 3 young boys.


Brian Zelman

Brian is a commercial real estate developer, broker and investor based in West Hartford. His primary business is single tenant retail development and redevelopment with a focus on medical tenants. Brian handles all aspects of development including site selection, acquisition, permitting, financing, leasing and disposition. Primary markets that he operates in are New England, NY/NJ and other select markets throughout the Eastern US. Brian is a licensed real estate broker in CT and MA with a focus on retail tenant representation. In his capacity as a broker, Brian works with national and regional retailers that are expanding in to existing space and through ground up development.  
Brian has served as a volunteer leader for the International Council of Shopping Centers and participated in the planning of many of their regional and local events. Brian's current role with ICSC is CT Government Relations Chairperson and has previously served as CT State Director and Next Generation Chairperson.

Tony Amenta

Tony Amenta is President and Co-Founder of Amenta/Emma Architects, PC, an award winning, regional architectural practice with offices in Hartford and Stamford, CT, and Cambridge, MA. Mr. Amenta leads the firm's Commercial and Mixed Use Studios, New Business Development, and nationally recognized Marketing Program.
Mr. Amenta holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from The University of Notre Dame and is a licensed architect in
Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Texas, and District of Columbia. Specializing in Strategic and Physical Planning, Mr. Amenta has lectured regionally and nationally on Project Planning, with a special interest in the area of New Urbanism. In the professional community, Mr. Amenta is a member of the ICSC, CNU, the Construction Institute, a Trustee of REFA Connecticut, and a member of the AIA CT Design Committee.

Michael Mihalek

Mr. Mihalek, President, is responsible for new business development, the identification, formulation, and implementation of investment strategies; sourcing acquisitions; executing disposition plans; and asset management - including day to day oversight of third party managers and leasing brokers, analysis of capital outlays, budgets, and development activity, negotiating leases, corresponding with lenders, and maximizing cash flow and valuation of existing assets.
Mr. Mihalek has been with Talcott since 2001.  Prior to that, he was Director of Valuation with SSR Realty Advisors (now part of BlackRock) and was responsible for a $5 billion portfolio consisting of retail, office, industrial, and multi-family assets.  He was also previously employed by PriceWaterhouseCoopers as a Director, where in addition to overseeing the eastern region valuation and consulting offices in New York and New Jersey, Mr. Mihalek focused on large/complex office and retail assets and performed bankruptcy consulting, single asset and portfolio valuations, and acquisition due diligence on institutional grade properties throughout the United States.
Mr. Mihalek holds an MBA and a BS in Finance/Real Estate from the University of Connecticut.  Mr. Mihalek is a Member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI) and a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP), issued by the U.S. Green Building Council.  In addition, Mr. Mihalek is an active member of the Connecticut chapter of Real Estate Finance Association.

Michael Riccio

Mr. Riccio is Co-Head of National Production for CBRE Capital Markets Debt & Equity Finance. Mr. Riccio, based in Hartford, CT is also the Northeast Regional Manager for the CBRE Debt & Equity Finance offices in Connecticut, New York City, Boston, New Jersey, and Pittsburgh. He joined CBRE in 2004 and has more than 28 years of real estate experience. Michael has closed over $5 billion of mortgage transactions in major metropolitan areas around the United States in all property types. Prior to opening the CBRE Capital Markets office in Hartford, Michael spent 23 years at CIGNA and held several real estate positions, including assignments in asset management, portfolio management and debt origination. Michael is frequently a speaker at industry events and is a published author.

Tom York has been a trusted commercial real estate advisor since 1996. Prior to forming Goman+York in 2011, he spent 15 years at CB Richard Ellis in the Hartford, CT office.


Melissa Ferrucci

Melissa Ferrucci, CPA, is an audit senior manager with CohnReznick with over 13 years of experience. Melissa works closely with management and clients to provide financial auditing services, as well as value added recommendations. Melissa is responsible for the management, planning and supervision of audits and financial reporting for commercial real estate clients. She is also responsible for the management of several large for-profit affordable housing engagements, many of which are financed by Connecticut Housing Finance Authority and Department of Housing and Urban Development. In addition, Melissa has a background in tax preparation and review and works closely with the tax department on real estate tax compliance.
